Project Overview

Edge Immigration is a UK-based immigration advisory firm serving companies sponsoring migrants, international students, and graduates requiring legal guidance. After working in the industry for 15 years, the founder decided to start his own business. The client wanted a clean, formal, and modern identity that conveyed professionalism, trustworthiness, and authority. The project focused on creating a logo, letterhead, visiting cards, envelopes, and office stationery to establish a cohesive corporate identity.

Design Approach

A combination mark logo was developed to convey both the trading name Edge Immigration and the registered company name Edge Forward Ltd. The design incorporates a subtle arrow element, representing forward progress and a positive outlook, while maintaining a clean and minimal form. Typography was chosen to be modern yet formal, giving the logo a professional and authoritative tone.

To address print constraints and maintain a professional look, a three-colour palette was selected: a muted yellow, blue-toned grey, and deep blue. This palette conveys authority, trustworthiness, and sophistication without relying on metallic finishes.

Stationery applications were designed for letterheads, visiting cards, envelopes, and office items, with recommendations for ordering additional items in the brand colours to maintain cohesion and control costs. The overall identity ensures a consistent, reliable, and modern image across all client touchpoints.

Colour Palette

The colour palette was derived directly from the logo to reinforce clarity, professionalism, and trust. A deep blue-grey forms the primary colour, grounding the identity in authority and reliability. This is supported by a light grey, which brings balance and neutrality, ensuring the brand feels formal and composed across legal and corporate contexts. A muted yellow is used as an accent colour, introducing warmth and approachability while symbolising progress and forward movement. Together, these three colours create a cohesive and versatile system that translates effectively across digital platforms and printed stationery, maintaining a modern yet professional presence.

Outcome

The new brand identity successfully positions Edge Immigration as a trustworthy, modern, and authoritative firm. The combination mark logo provides clarity and recognisability, while the stationery applications create a cohesive professional experience for clients and partners. The client was satisfied with the final designs and is able to use the identity consistently across all touchpoints, including letterheads, visiting cards, envelopes, and office stationery.​
